PRIDE WINNIPEG ANNOUNCES NEW OFFICE LOCATION, STRENGTHENING COMMUNITY PRESENCE

Winnipeg, MB — Jan 21, 2026 — Pride Winnipeg is proud to announce the opening of its new office location effective Jan 26, 2026, marking an important milestone in the organization’s continued growth and commitment to serving the 2SLGBTQ+ community in Winnipeg and across Manitoba.
Located at 926-294 Portage Ave, the new space provides Pride Winnipeg with a more accessible, functional, and welcoming environment to support year-round programming, community partnerships, volunteer coordination, and administrative operations. The move reflects the organization’s evolving needs as it continues to expand its impact beyond Pride season.
“This new office represents more than just a change of address,” said Barry Karlenzig, President. “It’s a tangible investment in our community and in the work we do to celebrate, support, and advocate for 2SLGBTQ+ individuals throughout the year.”
“We thank Canad Inns, owners of the Somerset Building at 294 Portage Avenue, for their support in helping us find a new, larger space after our previous office building was sold earlier this fall. Pride Winnipeg is also happy to announce our strengthened relationship and decade-long partnership with Canad Inns and its Radisson Hotel Winnipeg Downtown as our new Official Hotel partner. This 10-year partnership will support the already amazing work that the Radisson Hotel Winnipeg Downtown and Canad Inns do for the 2SLGBTQ+ community. This will also ensure Pride Winnipeg has accessible meeting spaces and rooms for not just our annual festival but conferences and functions throughout the year.” “At Canad Inns, we believe our role as a hospitality company extends beyond our walls and into the communities we serve,” said Dan Lussier, CEO, Canad Inns. “We are proud to support Pride Winnipeg as they expand into a new, more accessible space, and to continue our long-standing partnership through the Radisson Hotel Winnipeg Downtown. This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to inclusion, belonging, and creating welcoming spaces for all.”

The new location offers improved accessibility and increased capacity for meetings, collaboration, and community engagement. Pride Winnipeg plans to utilize the space to foster stronger relationships with local organizations, and community members, while continuing to deliver inclusive and meaningful programming.
Pride Winnipeg has been a cornerstone of Winnipeg’s 2SLGBTQ+ community for nearly four decades, best known for organizing the annual Pride Parade and Festival, as well as a growing slate of cultural, educational, and advocacy initiatives.
