Celebrate Pride with some additional support. Pride Winnipeg is committed to facilitate financial support for the 2SLGBTQ+ community to celebrate Pride.
RESURGENCE FUND
The Resurgence Fund has been created in order to provide financial support to community groups to host their own event or lead an initiative during the Pride Winnipeg Festival that helps increase the visibility of traditionally socially excluded groups or promotes diversity and inclusiveness amongst the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
PARADE ENTRY GRANT
Pride Winnipeg also offers a parade entry grant program which was created to assist those groups who may have financial hardships and not able to cover the cost of the parade entry fee.
Manitoba Pride alliance grant program
The Manitoba Pride Alliance provides funding for Manitoba Pride organizations who’s mandate, programs, or services are focused on the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
The 2025 Grant Program is now Closed; applications for 2026 will open in February 2026.
Pride winnipeg scholarship
Pride Winnipeg Scholarship
Value: $750-$1,000
Application deadline: April 30, 2026
Awarded annually to four (4) Manitoban students who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning, Two-Spirit etc. (2SLGBTQIA+) pursuing post-secondary education. Applicants must also demonstrate the following qualities in their applications: good character and leadership skills.
- Submit a short essay (outlines below) including what identifying as a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community means to them and how this award will help them achieve their post-secondary goals;
- submit a copy of their post-secondary acceptance letter from a post-secondary institute and;
- submit one (1) letter of support from a teacher or community leader that describes how the applicant demonstrates good character, as well as any obstacles or financial needs the person has had to overcome to pursue their educational goals.
- Submit your essay, acceptance letter, and letter of support in one email to scholarship@pridewinnipeg.com with the subject including your full name and “Pride Winnipeg Scholarship YEAR”

- Minimum 2 full pages, Maximum 4 pages
